- 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh cilantro, finely chopped
- 1 lb lean grilling steaks (such as shoulder tender, flat iron, or sirloin)
- Large zip-top bag
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 3 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F. Slice onion thinly; chop garlic and cilantro. Slice beef into thin strips, across the grain, and place in zip-top bag (wash hands).
- Combine vinegar, soy sauce, cumin, and coriander; add to beef and let stand 15 minutes to marinate.
- Preheat large, nonstick sauté pan on medium-high 2–3 minutes. Place oil in pan, then add onions and garlic; cook 4–5 minutes or until onions begin to soften.
